First of all, I would like to say words couldn’t explain how happy we are with Carolyn Schartz. As first time home owners, I had my doubts working with any real estate agent but Carolyn treated us like family! Always positive, energetic, happy and respectful, amongst many other positive things. I’m on call 24/7 for my job and she was willing to work around my schedule to meet my needs, whether it was at 9am or 6pm with same day notice, during the week or the weekends and for that, I thank you!! My husband and I had the good fortune of working with Carolyn Schartz for the last three years!!! We were leaving an absolutely beautiful home and property in WI and had very tight demographic requirements in IL and the boarder. Carolyn worked tirelessly searching for property after property for us to view ~ I honestly lost count of exactly how many homes Carolyn enthusiastically showed us. Every home we would enter, Carolyn would give us her honest and objective critique. Not only did she understand exactly what we were looking for, she genuinely wanted us to find it. Besides her understanding of our needs and wants, Carolyn was in our estimation, an expert at examining and evaluating the mechanicals of the homes we viewed. To say Carolyn was an amazing Godsend, would be a gross understatement. When we did finally find our home, Carolyn worked tirelessly with us as we went through the inspection process. We had a rather lengthy inspection report. Carolyn worked with us as we phoned in all the trades to come and evaluate our issues to provide us with a fair estimate of what the repairs would cost. Carolyn sat with me for hours on end as we sat with the contractors. She asked just the right questions upon their evaluation ~ she was truly looking out for our best interest, an oddity these days. Besides Carolyn's expertise in Real Estate, we have to say her finest attribute is her genuine honesty, an invaluable quality when one is looking for the largest purchase in their lifetime. Carolyn was absolutely fantastic. Carolyn helped us with the sales of a home and with the building of a new home. For the sale of our new home she helped stage and had awesome pictures taken. She helped calm our fears when our first buyer fell through because of financing and got us back on the market right away and helped us in our choice of the multiple offers we ended up with when our house went back on the market. Carolyn was at closing as well and helped explain all the paperwork...she was there every step of the way. Even more importantly she helped us with construction of our new home. I didn't know a realtor could be so valuable with new home construction. Carolyn was our advocate with the builder, helped us pick out our design items, spotted things that needed to be fixed (that we didn't see) upon initial inspection of the home once built, helped spot items at the follow up home inspection and final walk through, helped find buyers for the appliances (that we didn't want) that came with the new construction, was at the closing to help explain the legal jargon, etc.... Carolyn was introduced to me about 10 years ago by a very dear friend. She helped my son find his house And I was totally impressed by her dedication and Professionalism . Now when it comes to my turn to sell my house, there was no one else I was going to call. Turns out recommendations she made when walking thru the house. I had a ramp out my back door and she told me to leave it, turns out that was the selling feature the buyers wanted the most!
